Worship is a lifestyle and through my research over the years found out that many believers think it's just all about music. Music is a part of it but it's not solely music. The great Apostle Paul puts it this way in Romans 12:1 "Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship". There are quite a number of revelations to pick from this just pin pointing on two:
1. We should present our bodies as a living, meaning we must be filled with life, that is the life of God which is Zoe in greek. We must believe and accept Jesus as our Lord from the heart. As Apostle John puts it in 1 John 5:11-12 "And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life."
2. Present the same bodies as a holy sacrifice which is acceptable to The Father. Now the question here is What is Holiness? This has been one of the most confusing question along with what righteousness is over the ages. There have been lots of misunderstanding to this subject but this blog isn't about publicly displaying the flaws to this misunderstanding over the ages but rather what it means to be holy which is intertwined with righteousness. Holiness is simply one of the natures of The Father. Apostle Peter had an outstanding revelation with the nature of God and us. Here in 2 Peter 1:4 "by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." Glory to The Father, what an outstanding scripture? Have we truly taken time to meditate on this verse?
Lets go through Peter's revelation again he says "...that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature..." WHAT ARE THE THESE? "by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises..." The scripture makes us understand that the these are all about what God has given us and has nothing to do with us. Self works doesn't make you holy. The verse just ends with an amazing revelation here too that just by being a partaker of the divine nature we are freed from the corruption that is in the thinking pattern of the world which comes through lust.
Wondering why you aren't living in this reality though you have declared and accepted Jesus as Lord. The answer is simply this You don't have and understanding or aren't acquainted with your identity, i.e who you are in Christ Jesus. Get acquainted with your identity and and see the effortless transformations from glory to glory in your life into the very image of Christ (2 Cor 3:18).
Romans 12 :1 ends this way "....which is your spiritual service of worship" this explains what our Lord and Master Jesus said in John 4:24 "God is a spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth". No matter what you choose to do on this earth so far as you have LIFE= the Son and it's in lane with your identity which flows from a sincere heart, fathers, mothers, brethren, sons, daughters you are worshiping the Father as tho as the Angels before the throne are.
On the 16/09/18 Minister Prince Othniel was live at the Wonder Arena. It was an atmosphere of The Father's Presence, Glory and so much Power. The vocabulary isn't enough to explain this experience and encounter with the Holy Spirit. We couldn't just hold ourselves last night but to just surrender to the massive anointing at work. "Worship is not about the music, it's about the heart" ~ Minister Prince. An understanding to this changes everything.
